What is a Home Care Package?

A Home Care Package is designed to help senior Australians live independently at home for as long as possible. It provides access to a range of care services, so you can receive the support you need at home and in the community.

How do I change my package to be managed by Care Coordination Australia?

If your current package isn’t being fully used, don’t worry - it’s easy to make the switch. Just get in touch with us, and we’ll help guide you through the process.

Why is pricing a percentage and not a flat rate?

Care Coordination Pricing is currently 11% of the Home Care Package Fees. Why a percentage and not a flat rate? The percentage is equivalent to what you receive through your package for that month. This means that when you take leave for extended periods or need to attend respite, you are charged the same percentage of the lower income received, instead of a high flat rate. This allows you to save up package funding for services and equipment, rather than having your funding absorbed through unnecessary fees for services you haven’t received.

2025 Support at Home Program

Starting in July 2025, the new Support at Home Program will roll out. We’ll guide you through the changes to ensure your care remains consistent and seamless, keeping you supported every step of the way.

What is the value of a Home Care Package?

Home Care Packages provide 4 levels of funding for supports in the home and community.
Level 1: Annual Subsidy $10,588
Level 2: Annual Subsidy $18,622
Level 3: Annual Subsidy $40,529
Level 4: Annual Subsidy $61,440

How many hours of care will I get?

The number of care hours depends on your individual needs and the cost of services. We’ll work with you to find the most reliable, affordable care providers in your area, ensuring your package is used to its full potential.

For any equipment needs, we’ll always source at least two quotes to make sure you’re getting the best deal for your Home Care Package.
